If there was any semblance of adherence to the law, Syed Mustafa Zaidi should have been facing more charges than just getting the children involved. If my understanding of our present law is correct, the zanjeer whip is classed as an offensive weapon and the part of the Ashura ceremony is illegal.
This bloke, Syed Mustafa Zaidi, injured himself, is convicted of forcing the inclusion of minors and gets a suspended sentence? What the hell is this politically correct world coming to?
